Cleaned up pretty good

We finally got a break from the rain so I spent Saturday detailing. I didn't go all out yet, I'm waiting for Spring. Took a few pics but the others didn't come out as well.

Man that pic is small...but you get the point.

She really looks good. Please tell us what you used. I know I would be interested with owning a black truck.

Honestly, I just washed it. With regular detailing, (clay/wax/cleaner/polish etc...) black will always stay looking good.

Ain't that the truth.

I spent 8 hours yesterday washing, claying, polishing, waxing and detailing my truck inside and out. Should have hit the wheel wells a little better, but after 8 hours my shoulders were aching.

I have two storms worth of salt on it right now..

The weather is predicted to be lousy at best Mon through late Tues... then another cold snap (high of 25ish) for several days. It's not looking good for getting it back to normal for a while.

...and yes, it's driving me absolutely insane.

I will wash at 25 if it's sunny but, I'm not sure I'm going to get that luxury. Who knows...

i wish i could detail my truck but im not gonna pay $3.00hr to use the bay at the hobby shop here on base. plus break should be coming soon and that is the nastiest time of the year from what i have heard. but come this summer look out for a weekend long detail.

I can't imagine how long you must have to go between washes/detailings on your truck. I was stationed on Adak, Alaska back in the mid to late 80's so I know how nasty those Alaskan winters can be.
