Clearkotes Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze

Hi,

I was reading an old post with a picture that RP posted of a cool Navigator that was polished with Clearkotes Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze, anyone else using this now?

It sounds like it's pretty good stuff and I thinking about getting a bottle, my PC should be here tomorrow and if this will help I will get it.

Anything I should know about it? My Expy is white and I'd like it to look that good.

Thanks

It's in a post called "How to make White pop."

Padron,

never used it myself ....

my suggestion to you would be pick one or two products, and then get really good at using them, and your PC, before trying a bunch of different things. you want to get to a point that you know the differences you see in products you are using are due to the products themselves, and not being caused by your improving skills..

that said, you will get the hang of the PC pretty quickly.. just be smart, and have fun.

Cool,

Thanks Gipraw, just was wondering what the word was on this stuff. I have a pretty large order coming from ADS tomorrow and with the products I already have I should be good for a while.

Unless, someone tells me the Clearkotes Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze, is something I should try.

Thanks...

I've seen it and may have tried it once... I can't remember honestly.

On the "How to Make White Pop" thread though, it looks spectacular... very clear, very bright, very sharp. I did some reading not too long ago on the product and found several raves... especially on light colors.

I think I'm going to get some. I have #80 & #83 on the way from ADS and some NXT, and a little #9.

Would you recommend 80, Vanilla Moose, NXT, Carnuba?

Although I probably won't get the Moose until next week, hope I can wait that long as I'm anxious to get using the PC.

Thanks RP!!

I'd probably snub the NXT.

Arrow

Really?

Just a couple coats of carnuba then. I may start doing the truck before I even get the Moose, pretty stoked about getting a PC.

Thanks

Never been a real big fan of sealants and sythetics playing together... just makes it entirely too 'glassy' to me...

ClearKote Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze is awesome stuff. And I agree, snub the NXT stuff. From my experience with NXT it doesn't last long at all. I would go with the VMHG and then to a PASTE carnauba.

Just curious on your opinion... why, specifically, a paste?

The reason why I like a paste wax over a liquid is because I find I like the looks a little better and Carnauba has a natural filling effect so any minor swirls left over will be slightly filled in. The paste seems to do a better job at this. Of course this is just my opinion on carnuaba. A lot of times I will use a sealant first and top that off with a carnauba.
