first time cleaning since August

i don't really wash my truck very often but it was getting really hogged up.
today was nice but not too hot so i cleaned out the junk in the cab, glove box, console and the bed. went to the car wash and vacuumed up all the fries and stuff. after a good wash and scrub i came home and cleaned inside with soap and water and the put a little conditioner on the dash.
It feels better driving a clean truck, also i took a couple hundred pound of stuff out so i should get better mileage.

Atta boy. My truck went a full 1.5 months (until today). Yes, that's a record (and very indicative of how busy I've been).

Congrats on re-discovering your truck's original color. Keep at it. (I suggest quick detailing spray...keeps time down for those "between wash" times when you only have 5-10 min.) (microfiber works well, too. Simply wipe down and ur done for awhile...)

Good luck.

Thats nothing I went from January of last year to November 5th of last year on my old truck as I washed before going to the dealer to trade it in so I could get a few extra dollars on the trade. I wash the new truck once every 2 weeks for now as it gets older it proble will be like my old truck.

Truck looks good!

we have pretty much the same truck, but an 02 the same color as urs. Our truck doesn't get washed anymore I'd say about 4 times a year, but when it does get cleaned, it shines up very nicely!

This red on these trucks look very nice when there clean!

Without being washed???? Damn, and I thought I was being bad at 3 weeks. Luckily, I got to wash it today. I'm planning on waxing and polishing both the truck and the boat next week when the sun comes out for good.

Yes. I'm sad to say I wasn't joking. And, to top that, I haven't washed it since that post either -- then again, we've had rain on EVERY SINGLE DAY since last Monday -- that makes over a week!

Today is looking better though!

We've had rain almost every day for the past 3 weeks, I washed it yesterday, had it looking good for a few hours, and then it rained again. At least it still looks decent. I will probably wash it again today because it is supposed to be sunny for the rest of the week.
