Question Cleaning my new windshield

I had to have a new windshield installed in my truck this week. The glass installer left a nasty haze on the windshield from trying to half-(donkey) clean it.What can I use to clean it? And,does newspaper really work better then any cloth/towel to clean windows?

I had a new windshield put in one of my trucks...I use a spray foam cleaner(Binswanger)..wipe off with paper towels..then I use RainX and wipe off the residue with a microfiber towel...it leaves no streaks and buffs the windshield perfectly clear....

I just replaced my windshield this week also. I used Dirtex sparay cleaner. Worked great with newspaper. I highly recommend Rain-X after to keep it looking good!

"Autoglym" is made in Germany and it is astounding. It really is the greatest window cleaner on the market. You cannot buy it in stores.

At Walmart I found a 2 pack micro fiber towel for windshield / glass cleaning for around $3.50.....it worked great. I used to use newspaper. Not anymore.

Micofibre cloth and Meg's cleaner wax. Works like a champ and lasts much longer than Rain-x.

Try Stoner's Invisible Glass and wipe with a m/fiber towel. For best results, apply when the glass surface is not too hot. That's the ticket.

Personally, I like a small waffle weave towel, and my NEW favorite glass cleaner... Hope's Perfect Glass Cleaner... available at your local Lowe's .
