Freshly waxed, impressed with the results

05 FX4 here, started out with a nice zip wax wash (been using it for years but wanna try the Gold Class Wash) with a Meguairs Deep Pile Mit, clay bar'd with Mothers Clay, Meguairs Polish, Meguairs NXT Paste, then topped it off with Meguairs Carnuba for a good seal. Pictures don't do it justice. Breathtaking in person. Enjoy!

Great job! Your ride (and house) look awesome!

Note: With that black paint, be VERY careful with your washing techniques, products, and tools (mitts, drying towels Etc.). Black paint can turn into a nightmare very quickly.

Many thanks there Boss! I've learned lessons over the years on washing techniques and such, especially with black as I've had a quite a few of em! I think I'm pretty locked in successfully with what I have now, Meguairs deep pile mit, Gold Class Shampoo (which I just picked up), chamois dry, Meguairs waxes and Meguairs Microfiber towels/applicators. So far, so good on the black F150. I was using a Microfiber washmitt, didn't like it to much as I noticed some scratches from it. The deep pile mitt though was a welcome change. Although, I'm always looking to learn something new which is why I love this forum and you knowledgeable guys! Thanks again.

Not really, my wife works full-time, I work from home full time, and we have 3 kids to take care of with 2 in school. I just do a little bit here and there over the course of a few days usually and not driving it much helps as well! Thanks everyone!

Absolutely beautiful, it's like a work of art. What did you use on the tires to shine them up? They look amazing also.

All I used was Meguairs Hotshine in the aerosol can. Love that stuff as the slingin (excess flying on the paint) after application is very minimal.

I really like the Hot Shine, always have some in my stockpile. I prefer to use Meguiars Endurance but sometimes it's just easier to spray that Hot Shine on.
