Cool Spring Cleaning, I'm so happy!!

I finally got all the winter road grime cleaned off the truck, it was in desperate need and our weather was unseasonably warm this weekend so. . .

This was about a 5 1/2 hour job yesterday. The sides of the truck felt like sandpaper from all the ***** kicked up over the winter. Washed it first, went over the entire truck (except the very top) with WD-40 to remove all the gunk, washed it 2 more times, with dish soap, to remove the oily residue from the WD-40, hit a few spots with Meguiars swirl remover, then waxed it with Meguiars #26. I am pretty happy with the results and if it stays nice tomorrow I may find the time to NXT it, today I detailed the inside. She's a happy truck!!

I wondered how long it would be before someone noticed that. It wasn't until I looked at the pictures that I realized I forgot to spray the tires! By then it was dark out, so I did it today!!

Thanks for the complement, but it's just a camera, no special lenses! Just very bright sun and the right angle I guess.

Thanks!! And I figured since we live in Alaska one of us should live in an igloo!! Seriously, she's a little too long for the garage so we had to do something to protect her from the elements. It's a Cover It portable garage, one of our wiser investments!!
