Paint question

So, I've had my vehicle for a little over a month. I take it in to get it detailed because we're finally going to see a week of sunshine and when I get it back, they ran across what seems to be paint on the bottom of my truck.

It's almost as if they were painting road lines one day and I ran over it and it splattered up on the paint.

Obviously, I want to get this off ASAP, but am curious if there is an easy way to do it that will keep my factory paint intact and looking awesome.

In short, I don't want to screw anything up and any advice is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Glad it worked out for you!

What 40 mentioned above is a very good piece of advice. As expensive as clay is, I know it's tough to just chuck it in the garbage but, in this case, he's right. It's probably spent and it's better to not risk it...

I cut the initial bar in half and threw away the used portion. I'm highly impressed with the feel of the paint after claying it and am definitely waiting for a sunny weekend to do the whole truck.

I'm halfway bitter about this....while I very much appreciate the help, something tells me ya'll knew I'd get the detailing itch and add more workload.....you guys are sneaky...

Hey I just wanted to make sure that you put a coat of wax on the portion that you used the clay on. When you clay the vehicle it removes all the old wax and you basically have nothing protecting your trucks paint.

Since you are just waiting for a nice day I think that even just some NXT Booster Wax might get you through until that day.
