Mr. Clean Auto Dry...

I just thought I would post some info about this product. I am not sure how many of those out there have tried it, but I tried it this past weekend. I actually only used the soap this time around. First of all I can say this soap foams up very nicely. I had lots of suds to do the truck. Second, after the truck was washed, I was amazed at home nicely that water dried off the truck. There was no water spotting whatsoever, and I really didn't even have to dry it. Just my microfiber towel to a few spots. Anyway, I wanted to suggest this product, at least the soap, and the nozzle with the filter only adds to the good workings of this product.

I was also posting to get some feedback about it. Has anyone else tried it before? Similar experiences? Other experiences? I thought it worked great. Any input on this is appreciated. Thanks!

I've used it on my Black 150, works great! no water marks. Unfortunately its below freezing 5 months of the year up here so I have to wait until spring to wash the truck by hand again. Until then it's the coin wash for me..

I'm thinking of getting one just for the filtered rinse. That the secret to the product, the Pur water filter.

I have one and it does work great! My biggest problem last summer was finding the soap and filters. We got the starter kit at Fred Meyer here in Juneau but no store in town, including Freddies, sold the soap and replacement filters. I checked Freddies a few days ago and they have them now!! Yippee, if the weather warms up tomorrow like they say its supposed to I'm going to be out there washing my poor, very filthy, baby!! Just hope I don't bust my butt, there is still ice in the driveway!

What's warming up to you folks...above 0?

I was given one of the Mr. Clean things back last May. I still haven't taken it out of the box. After reading the directions sounded like a PITA so I just continued to wash and wax as I normally do. Although after hearing all these glowing reviews I'm going to have to give it a try.

I got one last year, and it works great. The only hand chamois work needed is where water gets trapped...like under the bed rail plastic and from around the Scab side windows. I did bring it in for the winter though, as I was afraid that the sub-freezing weather might expand and break it. Can't wait to use it again in a few weeks.

Well, they said it was supposed to get up to 45° today. Ha, yeah right! It barely got above freezing so the truck remains dirty for now...

The Mr. Clean really isn't as much of a PITA as you think. It is a little awkward at first getting the hose and the gadget all going the same direction so the water ends up on the truck but the time you save drying makes it worth it.

I've used this a few times on my Blackwood and I like it. Works best with their soap though and you have to replace the filter when it changes color or it won't work right. I use the filter rinse after a rain so it dries spot free. Only takes a minute.

The best thing about this is when it is cold out you dont have to dry.

I live in Las Vegas where we get to wash and wax all bloody year!

I tossed my Mr. Clean into the back of the tool closet after getting tired of buying refills for the soap and filter. Using it to maintain 2 large cars (car/truck) is not cheap.

A few extra minutes with a chamois or synthetic towel and cotton towels is small beer.

YMMV.

Cheers,

Phil
