Permanently stained trim
Permanently stained trim
I left some 3MFI when I was polishing a truck and now the door handles are Permanently stained off white. I tried everything to remove witout no luck. I might have to buy new ones but I want to know can door handle (Plastic) trim be restained with a black stain or paint????
Thank You
Thank You
I believe it could be painted but, I have a hunch that it'll be less durable and potentially tough to maintain.
Tough call man... Let us know what you go with on that one...

What all have you tried to remove it? Also, what is 3MFI... I've heard of and read about 3M PI (perfect-it) but, not FI... or, at least I don't remember...

3MFI = 3M Finesse-It a polish compound
I tried 3m wax remover, degreasers, brushing, trim restorers
Right now I'm looking at Forever Black Bumper & Trim Reconditioning Dye, I think that should do it
