Zaino with PC 7424
As a long time Zaino user...I have never experienced these long dry times.
I put 4 drops of ZFX in 2oz of either Z2 or Z5, apply a THIN coat to the entire vehicle and immediatly begin buffing at my starting point. Not sure if its being in the NorthEast, temps are always above 50 outside. I have also put on multiple coats in a garage heated with a portable propane burner while its in the teens outside.
Personal choice guys....just take a gander at the T&A thread over in GD. I started using Zaino on my Harvest Gold Ranger when I first fell in love. Then used it on my wifes Bright Red Expy and was still in love. Used it on my True Blue Screw and did not like the look
Paul,
I would NOT use the PC at all with Zaino. #1 - it should be applyed in straight strokes: Hood to Grill. And on the sides: Top to Bottom.
For Zaino prep:
1) to address swirls, oxidation and such, I like the Poorboys SSR's. Usually SSR2.5 with a polishing pad and if needed next with SSR1 and a polishing pad.
2) I like to use Klasse All-In-One (AIO) before puttng on the Zaino. It gives a nice clean base for the Z to bond to.
3) I always put on 3 initial coats and its up to you after that. It will last an easy 6 months if you hit it every couple of weeks with Zaino's QD (I can never make it past 2-3 months).

I don't recommend Zaino with a PC. It should take longer and use much more product that a damp foam applicator and a microfober removal towel. I get about 4-5 coats per ounce on an F-150 Supercab. It takes me about 15 mintes to apply and 20 minutes to remove by hand. Thin coats = little effort to remove. By PC, you would use over an ounce per coat because you have that much more pad area to saturate. By the time I get the PC out, find a pad and extension cord, I could have had a coat on.
I see little advantage in using a PC with any sealant that is properly applied. Save it for the prep work.
