meguiars #26 paste??

i had the gf get me some wax when she was doing errands. Told her #26 and she came back with this jar of wax paste. Is this stuff ok to use? does it apply like the liquid or should i take it back n get the liquid stuff instead?

If it's #26 paste wax.................... of course it's OK to use. I actually prefer the #26 paste rather than the liguid.......... some prefer the liquid. Both have the same amount of carnauba content, so it doesn't matter.

Just make sure to keep the coats thin and even.

I agree with Boss - I prefer the #26 in paste over the liquid. Key is applying it VERY THIN and EVENLY. Best finishing wax in the industry, in my opinion. Has served me very well for years.

I think the past is better, only because it makes MUCH less of a mess, and it is easier to apply. I just put on my first coat of NXT, I have one more coat to do then I will top it with #26 paste. I have some S100 wax, was thinking about using that instead of the #26.

having just used the paste, its awesome. Ill never get liquid again. Less messy, more controlled application. It rocks.

Different strokes, different folks! Like you've mentioned, there are definately some pros and cons to both the liquid and the paste...

My suggestion, use what you like best and, from the sounds of it, you've found your gem! Enjoy and we'd love to see some pictures if you get a chance!!!
