Pictures?

Does anyone have pictures of a toreador red truck with NXT or Zaino? I would really appreciate it if you could share these pictures with me. I'm trying to decide if I should go the synthetic route or not.

Hope the pic isn't too dark cause the Zaino definitely gives it "the Look"....BTW, that's Z2.....
This is my work truck... a Toredor Red 97.... with fresh Zaino. Personally, I wouldn't use anything but a synthetic simply because of the longevity..... Although I haven't tried NXT, I can say that the Zaino route is definitely a great way to go. That's all that touches either of my F150 or GF vehicle and now my brothers and my sons new F150......https://www.f150online.com/galleries...5039-77385.jpg
This pic is on a "Cloudy Day" and the super DOI, well, if you have dvi monitor, maybe you'll see the depth. Hard to see the color here isn't it....?

Cool thanks DonnyD and RP. I got a little antsy and bought some NXT the other day. I'm going to try it on my girlfriend’s car first. I believe that this is the first commandment of detailing right? Her car is white so I’m not sure how well it would translate to toreador red though. Thanks again. Oh and I would have tried Zaino but I hate having to order stuff off the internet.

No, the first commandment is "Try it on the wife's car first"! However, if you are not married (or breaking other commandments ), you can substitue "Try it on the girfiend's car first"!

She found out I was using her car as a gunnea pig, not to happy with me but it turned out great so everything worked out in the end. NXT really comes off easy but I wasn't sure about the look compaired to Megs #26. Guess I'm going to put #26 over the NXT.

That's precisely what I did and I was VERY happy with the results. Unfortunately, I don't really have any pictures highlighting the difference between the #26 over NXT as the picture above is straight NXT, no topper.

I plan on stripping everything off my truck this weekend and starting from scratch. I got behind some kind of leaking semi-truck this past week and there are bajillions (highly technical term there) of little bitty drops of 'resin' or something like that all over my paint. In short, I'm going to have to clay... following that, I'm going to hit a few areas with DACP (a couple of scratched trouble areas) and then go back to NXT with a #26 topper to be applied a few days after application.

Ahhh, the measures we all go through... LOL!

If the paint don’t have Zaino, it’s like walking around naked…

I kind of like walking around "comando". Anyway, speaking of clay. What is the difference in clay, for example at premium autocare, they have different grades of clay, which are different colors. I may have to suck it up and order stuff off the internet cause there's so much stuff I want at premium autocare.

I hear you there. I've been antsy for spring, too. My order from premiumautocare.com came in the other day. It was like Christmas in March: two DF Concours Towels (haven't tried them yet but just the look and feel is amazing) 2 small and one big soft & plush microfiber towels, the big waffle weave microfiber drying towel, the "super soft" waffle weave microfiber drying towel, a bottle of poorboys trim restorer, and a can of plexus. Order came to something like $101, so the shipping was free, plus I got about $10 off by using the "detailcity" coupon code. Thanks to everyone who has advised shopping through PAC - and I'll pass along that recommendation. Great stuff and great service.

Sorry, got a little excited and went OT there. I've also got a big case of Z products I'm waiting to bust out when I get a chance. Decided to go the synthetic route myself as I don't usually have a lot of time for waxing and didn't want to feel guilty if I couldn't get a new coat on in a timely manner. I'll still probably pick up some NXT and do some test spots. I'd like to see how the two compare on black paint, as that seems to be a tricky color for synthetics.
