Question microfibre towels

Have heard a lot of great things on this forum about microfibre towels (thanks Rockpick). However it would appear that Premium Auto Care does not deliver to Canada. Has anyone found a Canadian source for these towels - if so please advise.

Thanks in advance

If you have Costco in Canada, they are supplying them in bundles of a dozen I think. I just bought a bundle about two weeks ago. Adams Polishes.com sells high quality ones that are a bit more expensive than Costco. They are of a higher quality!

Good luck, Ed

Try Canadian Tire;
I saw some in the Brantford (NORTH)store, but have not seen them in any other stores yet. (It's the Simoniz brand). Also try, Partsource ( a division of CDN Tire)- They carry more stuff then the CDN Tire( I found Mequiar's Pro line #2,#7,#9,#26--have not been able to find this stuff anywhere else in S.W. Ontario).

Thanks for the information. I was looking for the microfibre towels recommended by Rockpick and Boss i.e. waffle weave microfibre premium drying towel and the soft and plush microfibre towel.

Please keep the responses coming!

Check out Pakshak towels. Great quality and it looks like they ship to CA. Make sure to send an e-mail requesting the latest "Autopia" pricing and you'll get a large discount compared to the web site pricing.

I would agree with APT. If Pakshak delivers to Canada, I would go for them. Pakshak's towels are extremely good towels!

Thanks to Boss and 429 for the great site reference. If I understand correctly, the Pakshak microfibre is equal in quality and performance to those offered by Premium Auto Care?

429 - could you explain how to go about "Make sure to send an e-mail requesting the latest "Autopia" pricing and you'll get a large discount compared to the web site pricing."

I'm getting the spring itch to clean my truck up and hope to do so shortly.

Great website!

cdnexpedition,

Thanks, but it was APT who gave you the site info and stuff!

However, I would say that PakShaks towels are very close in quality, and performance to Premium Auto Cares towels, and are very nicely priced. Some people prefer PakShaks towels over PAC towels. All depends on the user. Whatever the case, you will be getting great towels from Ranney (Pakshak).

As for the pricing, I think APT was pointing out that members of Autopia forums get a nice discount with Pakshak. Join the forums, contact Ranney, and go from there.

Here's the forum:

I wasn't thinking that you should actually join Autopia, but go for it. It is another forum like F150online.com, but the topic is not a specific vehcile, but detailing any and all vehicles. Mr. Ranney Pak (owner/founder of Pakshak) is a member there and provides great information without solicitation of his products. Anyway, if you are a member of Autopia and send Ranney an e-mail stating such, he will send you a better price list of his current inventory. The prices are significantly cheper than what he las listed on his web site.

I have recommended other people to e-mail him that are not registered Autopians and they have received an email with the better pricing.

As for quality, I only have two brands, Pakshak and JT International, not PAC. I bought the brands I did out of my own research on Autopia mostly. They both got great reviews, but I haven't been over at Autopia for a while so I don't know how some of the newer sources compare quality wise. If Boss & Rockpick liek them, I have no reason to doubt the quality.

Yes, Ranney and his Pak Shak microfibers are awesome, plus the customer service is second to none. I've used the cheaper Costco and Walmart microfibers and thought they were nice until I got some Pak Shak towels. Now I use the cheaper ones for windows and door jambs.
