It's actually a tire cleaner, but I noticed when cleaning the tires one day that the run off on to the rim cut through the crap. So now, When I go to wash my truck, I first spray the wheels and tires with bleach-white and let it soak while washing the rest of the truck.
When I'm done washing the truck, I use a cloth-covered sponge with the leftover car wash mix to scrub the tires and rims. They're left spotless. As long as you don't use that same sponge and water on the rest of your truck, you're golden.

Industrial Strength

Brake dust specific - all finishes

Standard strength - all finishes

I use the chrome/wire wheel cleaner - even on clearcoated or polished.

IMPORTANT:
  • Wheels and brakes must be cool & dripping wet before spraying.
  • Spray each wheel within 10 seconds.
  • DO NOT leave solution on for more than 30 seconds.
  • Rinse thoroughly with a steady stream of water.
  • Do ONE wheel at a time only.

No brushing or wiping is necessary.

The FX series does a good job of cleaning the brake dust off the wheels safely. The Chrome/Wire Wheel cleaner just cleans everything fast but might be a little risky on expensive wheels if you leave them on for more than a minute.

Moved to GENERAL CARE and DETAILING where I highly recommend searching for answers on this subject... (and not spraying BleacheWhite on your rims).
