Line x for $349. Good deal?

I just bought a 2002 supercab and got a drop in bedliner thrown in for free and installed the other day. This thing is a piece of junk and poorly installed along with the bug deflector and mug guards.

I called my local Line-X dealer (Cincinnati) as I hear many good things about them and got a quote of $349. I have heard of many others paying well over $400 for the line x and wondering if this is a good deal.

Love my new truck and want to take care of it.

yeah that sounds like an excellent deal. may remind them though (most line-x dealers do already) to take out the body bolts in the bed first before spraying, incase you ever need to get those bolts out again for body lift or due to body damage that you need to get the tailgate off for.

Thumbs up great price

That sounds like a great price. Wen I was checking into Line-X, I couldn't get it done here for less than $430.00!

$349's good. Go for it. Line-X is highly recommended. I investigated a number of competing spray-in liners and finally chose Line-X. The material is harder and more durable than others and the gray matches the gray bed and gate rails. My advice is to go to the Line-X place and ask lots of questions. You can request that the bed bolts and gate fasteners be removed before the liner is sprayed in. They also have some limited custom colors, but I chose the standard gray. They will abrade the clearcoat from the bed with an orbital sander to prepare the surface, but once you accept this necessity your decision to get a Line-X will be rewarded. You can also request that the Line-X logo plate (usually stuck to the liner on the side) be left off. The post-installation advice is also good. I thought I had discolored the liner with Formula 409 (to clean off grease and oil); the dude said just to pressure wash the surface and it'd be fine; it was. In sum, Line-X is the way to go in my opinion.

$339 is what I was quoted. But I paid $319.00 after manufacture coupon.
Go to the Line-x web site for a printable coupon for $20.00 off till Febuary. Merry Christmas

Coupon?

I looked at the website and didn't see any printable coupon. Would love to have one as my Line-X is going in on Monday and it's going to run $439.00. Hey, everything in the DC area is more expensive, so I've come to expect taking it in the shorts, but I'd like to limit the depth penetration, you know?

(In that case, I've got a $20 off coupon, I could let it go for $25.)

Actually, I've heard about that coupon too but, when I went to the site I didn't see any 'coupon'. Maybe somebody could post the 'url'?

Gee, thanks Raoul...

I might have taken you up on it until I did a search in Yahoo for "line-x coupon" and hit this:

Paid 275.00 for my line -x. I had them spray over some letters i glued on my bed (F-150) to give it a differant look they can do it with the line-x decals too by gluing it on your bed before they spray it. Looks real good

i paid 400 for rino in virginia beach on a short wide bed up over the rails. this was in 1995/6. sounds like a good deal to me but make sure to find out how think he's putting it in as he may be skimping a bit to drop the price.
