Question Who has put what in/on a BedRug??

I have read other posts and am thinking about getting a BedRug for my 1997 F150 XLT 4x4. I was originally hooked on a Rhino linning but for less I can get the bedrug, which would be more comfortable (at the drive-in's w/ the gal ), looks sharp, and can be switched if I were to get a new truck. The only things I will once in a while be putting in the bed (that I am worried about) would be a four wheeler, snowmobile with 192 studs, and empty beer cans. Do you think it will hold up?? Is it easy to clean?? Just wondering if I could hear some stories on who has put the BedRug to test. Thanks for any help, Matt

Smile Bedrug!

I am waiting for mine to be installed along with a new Snuglid.
I have yet to read a negative post on the bedrug. They will send you a free sample of material from their website.

I've had my BedRug in for about a month now and I love it. I have a SnugLid, so I don't carry too much big in it, but based on how the material is and the comments I've heard on here, I wouldn't hesitate to. It's pretty sturdy for carpet.

Speaking of the free sample of the material, I'd recommend it if you're still hesitant, but be prepared for a wait. It took almost a month for mine to come and by that time, I'd already given in and ordered the BedRug from another vendor...it and the sample came the same week.

Question Snuglid and BedRug Installed

Hey bugsdoc1,

I checked out your jpg - looks awesome.

How much did you pay for your Snuglid?

I've done a thorough search in the Pacific NW, and the best price I found in the Seattle/Portland area is $795 with the Snugrip system (clamp style, no holes).

Seemed pretty steep to me, but I'm sure they have the market cornered up here.

Just curious to see what others are paying.

Thanks.

Smile Pricing?

I paid $745.00 for SnugLid. FOSSliner was an additional $95.00. BedRug was $350.00 Installation $50.00 Then I had to pay $102.30 in TAX!

All in all a good investment!

Lots of stuff

I have hauled lumber, sod & my harry Malamute.

Very comfortable to climb around on. I did have to use a lint brush to remove the dog hair (did not feel like taking off the topper to do a powerwash)

You can wash it at your local car wash (done that with the topper off!).

I have had mine since late spring & am very happy with it as you can see here: (can't tell I am 6'3" in that pic)

I have hauled dogs, firewood, leaves. riding lawn mowers, and trash in mine and it hoses out clean every time. It remained uncovered in NC for a year and a half before I put a topper on it. Few products hold up to their claims like the Bedrug has! If you haven't checked it out, go to their site at www.bedrug.com!

Thumbs up you name it

Best investment yet. Can't seem to go anywhere without getting a complement on how good it looks. The kids love to picnic in it when we go out for fast food. Has probably saved 10 years of where and tear and food from the back of our SuperCrew.

WOW, that is pricey. I paid 669.00 for my SnugLid with the full grip system, 329.00 for my BedRug and 55 install. 82.34 in tax. But mine was for a Tundra. I do not know if the ones for the Ford SCrew is more expensive. I had mine installed a few days ago and I am tickled pink with the way it turned out

Hi ya nj1266,

Where did you get your snuglid at if I may ask? Seems like a good price. Did you go for the clamp on or bolt on mounting system?

thanks

I got it from American Camper Shells in Carson California. I live in Long Beach CA and I am close to them. They installed a mounting system that does not require any drilling. I think that would be clamp. There phone number is 310-549-1003. Give them a call. They will beat any price. They were the cheapest I could find and they did a great install.
