Will a canopy off a 2017 f150 with a 5.5 foot box fit a 2020 f150? The 2020 has a tailgate step as well.

It should if they are both Supercrews.

 

They are both super crews, the worry was the fact that the ‘17 doesn’t have the tail gate step and the ‘20 does

 

Is this a hard BED CAP or more like a FRAMED TENT canopy?
I've heard them called bed covers, bed shells, toppers too ...
... but don't recall canopy being used ... but it works.

Either way, I don't see the tailgate step making a difference.
