Truck Cap Manufacturers

I am considering putting a truck cap on my 2010 Ford F-150 Supercab with a 6.5 bed. Snugtop looks like the best but the most expensive. The locking system on Snugtop seems to have the most secure.

I would like feedback from any of you for the pros and cons of Snugtop as well as other brands.

Thanks in advance.

I just bought a new SnugTop SuperSport model for my 2010 FX4. It's top of the line but the price is a little steep. Their web site is currently offering a $100. coupon. Seem's to be well made, I also had them include a Yakima Rack System.

I've been really happy with my Leer cap.

I currently have a Raider, but I've had 6 or 7 Leers on previous trucks with good results... Leer, Raider, and Century are all made by the parent company "TAG" - Truck Accessories Group.

I'm looking for a cap to fit my 00 SC Lariat.

The Ranch Caps didn't look all that bad, seem to be cheaper in price compared to ARE, LEER, etc.

If anyone knows a good website for used truck caps, or a place in Knoxville, TN let me know.

Not sure if it's too far for you (probably is), but Ishler's sells used, new, and "factory second" caps...

I got my Raider from them, it was a factory second and had some scratches in the roof, but otherwise was brand new. Luckily it was the correct color too! I paid less than 1/2 of what it would've cost to order one including installation.

If the price is right, it might make it worth the trip - you never know...

I really like the Leer 100xq on my truck. The fit and finish is perfect. This is the top of the line model so the price is not cheap. The thing I really like is that it Lock/unlocks with my doors. More pics in my profile
