Roll Up - Quality?

Hi Everyone -

I tried to run a search but i kept getting "IB
Sorry! This page is currently unavailable." messages.

Anyways, what is your experience with the roll up tonneau covers... Is the quality any good? I know they are cheap and i should not complain but $300 is $300 and i don't want something that will fall apart?

I am sure I could google this but I value your input.

Thanks,

Jeff

I love mine, the quality is great and it. We have some crazy strong winds in the Texas panhandle because there's nothing around to stop it-especially here around Lubbock. The latches do worry me sometimes because mine doesn't have a system to hold the edges down so it does flap, but the latches are strong and hold up good from my experience.

I have a TruXedo Lo Pro QT and it is awesome. If you take the time to go around it and tighten down the Velcro properly it sits perfectly flat. While driving it doesn't flap in the wind at all. The down pressure coming off the back of the cab actually presses the cover down onto it's 3 support bars that cross the bed and keep it from moving.

If for some reason you have to remove it all you have to do is roll it up and slide back one of the spring loaded clamps at the front of the bed. Once you do that the cover comes off and your bed is open again. You will lose about 2 inches of width on either side of your bed at the rails because it mounts inside the bed instead of on top of the rails.

Yeah, I paid about 400 for it at a local shop. The quality of the cover is great and I'd highly recommend it.

Love my Access Lorado. 4 years and it has held up well. Still looks good too.

Another Truxport owner here - in fact, I'm on my 3rd one with 3 different trucks. If you plan to use your truck to haul anything above bed level, it's the only way to fly in my opinion!
