Who makes the best fitting drop-in ?
Who makes the best fitting drop-in ?
I am wondering who makes the best fitting drop in bedliner? I like the factory ford liners but they want $300+ dollars for them around here. The local truck outfitter sells penda liners but ive heard they don't fit well. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I don't want a spray on because I am hard on trucks and want the dent protection of a drop in. thanks in advance.

Sounds like it may work for you. I am not a big fan of spray on bedliners either. The only complaint about the original factory bedliner in my '91 f-150 is that cargo slides EVERYWHERE unless it is tied down really well. Still no dreaded rust people talk about with a drop in liners and it has been in the truck for 17 years. That could be because I take it out every year and clean under it.
I am going to give the DualLiner a try in my '06. If it offers the same protection as the drop in liner in my '91 has, plus cargo not sliding around all the time and easier maintenance I will be a happy camper.

I've always liked the Ford drop-in. With it you get the confidence that comes with a component that has been tested to Ford's requirements. Who knows what the other systems have been tested to? My '99 had one and for $300 I had the same put in my '08. I've hauled gravel, mulch, cinder blocks and carbide equipped snowmobiles and it always power washed out to look like new. The durability of 3/16 -1/4" of polyethylene is hard to beat.
Did it rust underneath? Who knows? After 9 years of hard use I was satisfied what I could see and so was the guy who bought the truck.

I have the DualLiner in my 06 and love it. You can yank out the rubber floor to inspect and clean under it any time you feel like it without having to take half the truck apart.
Another vote for the Dualliner. Ive had mine about 5 months and its been great. The non-skid floor is great and it really protects and fits the truck properly. I really wanted a spray on but it was more expensive than I was looking to spend.

If you want the best of both worlds, try this. I have a tuff liner with a rubber mat over the bottom. I paid $105 for the liner and around $40 for the mat. It will cost more now, but not much. I've had my truck for 10 years and hauled tons of stuff including 10, or more full loads of wood each year. A lot of times you can find a free, or close bedliner at a body shop, or from somebody who has to have a spray-in. Check on your local craigslist, or similar, buy the mat new and save yourself a lot of money. Good luck on your finds.

Duraliner made Ford one's, not one problem on mine. Even took a 460 block sliding (some idiot made me slam on brakes) sliding on the floor against the front, no problem. The yo-yo that put it on, dealer, stripped the screws on the tailgate so 2 always wedged loose. Fixed that too.
I might just go with an all star. $110 sounds like the best bang for the buck out there especialy if it fits like the ford ones. Does it look like it will hold up well?
