Line-X Question

I tried to search for this question. If it has already been asked I apologize.

I love the look of the product does anyone know if it holds up well with dogs? I have two dogs that ride in the back and want to know if anyone has problems with the dogs nails ruinning the surface?

Thanks

I have the stuff in my bed and there is absolutely no way your dogs nails are going to do anything to it. And if they do then it has a nation wide lifetime warrenty! I literally took my knife to it and tried cutting it. And nothing happend to it. I would highly recommend it! Well worth the money!

I am picking up my truck This Friday. The main reason I asked is I have a very sweet put strong Pit Bull and wanted to make sure she could not chew through it

I had my step bars Line-X's and obviously get in and out of my truck several times daily. There are absolutely no indications of wear marks from my shoes/boots stepping in the same spot every day. It's great stuff.

LOL!!

I've had a pit and yeah they'll chew anything.. not sure that they chew on stuff any more than a lab does though.. but regardless, there should be nothing your pit should be able to get her teeth into with a Line X liner.. Just to be safe, make sure she always has a rawhide or something back there to play with.. Honestly though, if she can get her teeth into Line X then she'd get her teeth into your painted bed anyhow.. LOL

No doubt the LINE-X bedliner will hold up well. If you want something a little softer for your doggies, you may want to consider LINE-X XS-130. (The regular LINE-X bedliner product XS-100). XS-130 is a little more "rubbery" and a little softer. The only problem is that the LINE-X nationwide lifetime warranty only applies to XS-100 bedliners.

Here's a pic of four different LINE-X products (out of about 25 or 30). The blue one is XS-130.

Thanks TruckGasm
I called a Line-X dealer where I live in Alpharetta GA, they do not have the different colors for the bed liner and they do not install the Kevlar top coat. So I guess it depends which Line-X dealer you go to? While this be the same situation with the softer product, will only a few dealers have it? Thanks for your help

I've had rocks thrown hard onto my Line-X, no indents or scratches anywhere.

Just a thought, but with any spray liner, I would be careful about textures - a coarse texture will be very hard on the the dogs paws. It would effectively be like the dog walking on ice crystals. I would be a lot more concerned about the liner tearing up the dog than the dog tearing up the liner.
