Tonneau Cover Toss Up

OK. I was down to two choices but have now found a third possibility. I was trying to decide between the Undercover or the Truxedo Lo Pro. Now after reading some of the post on the forum I looked into the Access Loredo. The Lo Pro and Loredo seem to be very similar but the Loredo is about $100 less than the Lo Pro. Please let me know your opnions or experiences with any of these three covers.

I just went with the UnderCover. For me, security (hard cover) is more important than being able to roll up the cover (soft cover). The UnderCover does come off in about a minute as they advertise so it's easy to open up the bed when needed. It's a very well made product and the install was quick and easy. I'm very happy with it.

You could also look into the Agricover's Vanish only 1/2 inch tall. It is kind of hidden on their site. http://www.agricover.com/index.php/p...category/C103/

Once my Bedrug gets here, and installed I'll be installing my third Access Tonneau Cover.

I just purchased my 2nd Access brand Cover (Had one on my ranger) My father in law has always had truxedo, first the old square ugly one and now the low-pro and I have always had Access both the original style, aside from price, the quality on either one is awsome. I just picked up my Access on ebay for $250 BRAND NEW IN A SEALED BOX. the cheapest I could find a Truxedo low pro for was $380ish, needless to say it was a no brainer!

Either way you'd be happy, just find what makes your wallet happy too!

Edited to Add: If you haul ANYTHING in your bed that requires the majority of the bed space, avoid hard tonneau covers, you can see in my sig what was on there, it looks AWSOME but was so impractical for how I use my truck, that cover is easily removed, but without another person its awkward as he!! to take off. They are great for security and looks, but functionality is very limited (depending on how you use your truck)

Thanks for the feedback. I was originally going to go with the Undercover for the security reasons. But after reading some posts about the roll tops thought that might be a better way to go. I narrowed that down to the Lo Pro and the Loredo. Sounds like the quality on both are excellant. Looks like Loredo is about $60 less. Just to make things a little harder Truxedo is coming out with a Lo Pro QT in January and a new model soon called the Deuce. The Deuce has the same features as the Lo Pro but also allows access the the front of the bed as well. I am just not sure how the front section is secured.

I love my Undercover. Combined with my bed extender, it makes a perfect secure compartment to lock things up in while shopping. I have a small storage area and larger storage area.

Yea the security aspect is what attracted me to the Undercover. I will be putting my laptop in the bed if I have to stop anywhere while at work. Anybody with a box cutter could get into a roll top. But the convenience of the roll top if you need to make an unexpected pickup of something large or just need to use the whole bed when away from home draws me to the roll top. There in lies the dilemma.

I love my snuglid. Its design follows the bodylines and is painted to match.

Spent months trying to decide and ended up with a Leer 700 series. Love it.

I think it may be worth yout time to look at Advance Cover...lockable, foldable, removable.

It's exactly what I was looking for. The rolltops were attractive to me, but I didn't want to lose the storage space in the front of the bed.

The advance cover can lock all panels down, or fold the panels back closest to the cab and be strapped down and left on the vehicle there, or removed in less than 5 min.

I don't work for them. I'm just a happy customer for the past 1.5 years!
