Line-x ?'s

Just curious if line-x is better than Rhino linings like my local dealer said. Also, is a quote of $288.67 a bad price?

My local line-x guy wanted $450 after a $50 discount. So I'd say that's a very good price. I have a 6.5" bed. I may just have to work out a "vacation" to Mobile.

I thought so, " Mark" said to tape and spray under the rails it would be $288.67 plus $25 for them to stencil in the "ford" logo.

JMT what dealer are you getting that deal from? Just wondering because I am only an hour away from Mobile and would gladly make the drive to get a Line-X for that cheap.

Two points to make here:

If you want Rhino, you better get it from that dealer quickly because he will either be raising his price or will be out of business soon.

I know for a FACT that Ford has instructed bedliner companies NOT to apply their logo.

I've been shopping around for a Line-X liner for my truck in and around Chattanooga, TN. The best deal I can find is $600 for a short bed. Thats seems awfully high.

The bedliner company's logo or Ford's logo? I can understand the Ford logo but why would it matter if the bedliner company's logo is applied or not? Now that you mention it though, I have seen several without one.

Line-X of Jackson MS told me $399 for mine.

Ford does not want spray-on bedliner companies to apply the Ford logo in bedliners. The logo is trademarked, so they have the right to stop it. But, you would think that this free advertising would be welcomed by Ford. Ford's probably worried someone is making a buck off of their logo.

Wonder how they feel about dealerships that offer spray-ins doing the logo. A local dealership around here has a deal with a local shop that does a spray in, not rhino or line-x, and they ask if you want the Ford logo in there or not. Some buddies of mine went for it from the dealer and two of them got the logo done.

Ford would be happy to let anyone apply their logo, they just want their 8% (retail) licensing fee paid by someone! They, like the others manufacturers, just want to make their money somewhere.

Ford is being a really stupid company with this issue. they are just plain stupid. They are bringing suits to companies that use the mustang name too. Really bad business if you ask me. More name recognition the better as far as I am concerned.
