Line-X in Wheel Wells

I am getting ready to setup an appt with a line-x dealer down here and I was wondering, for some of you line-x installers and users out there, if you can get the wheel wells done as well. If not, why and what direction should I head in?

Yes, the wheel wells can be sprayed. The wells need to be thoroughly cleaned first.

Most wheel wells are plastic or covered in plastic, so 1) you don't need to get them line-X and 2) that's not really that good of an application for Line-X.

What year is your truck? The rear wheels have no plastic. I am also going to get them Line-X-ed on my truck. Why would this not be good? I cann't see any reason to not do it.

The Line-X shop closest to me refused to spray the wheel wells due to the solution being heated and not wanting to get any spray on moving or sensitive parts like ABS sensors or wiring.

We COVER UP those things with plastic. Very easy, never had any problems. Must be a newbie dealer.

It's too bad because I really wanted to have the Line-X in there. Instead I wound up with crappy undercoating (sprayed by another establishment) that has already begun flaking off.

If it's not to late go to www.linex.com and do a search for them in your area. I did and found a few that would do it for me. There were a few that wouldn't do it to. The ones that wouldn't told me to undercoat it Not for me. I think I will do mine after Christmas.

A large majority of the newer trucks have plastic covers inside the wheel wells, if your truck doesn't happen to have them then Line-X might not be a bad idea, but if you have them, line-x'ing the plastic is kinda pointless.

Agreed. The 04 to 07 F150 does not have any rear fender lining though.
