Looking for Pace Edwards jack rabbit

I am looking for a hard rolling toneau cover, jack rabbit or similar. Does anyone know where to get a good deal on one of these?

Thanks

I like the roll n locks my self. They can be had for $950 shipped and easy to install. I couldn't find one locally for under $1000 then tax on top of that.

Me too, I can't decide. Is the full metal jack rabbit really worth it?? Or is retrax the way to go?? I just wouldn't want to have to mantain the retrax, it looks like you should wax it, it's so shiny, nice though. But really, I need mine for work not show, theft-proof and water tight. And I won't go fiberglass, so what do you think? Don't mean to take over the thread lofarris, it sounds like thats what you want too....

Keep in mind that the roll types, like RollNLock and Retrax have a cannister that takes up part of the bed. The Retrax cannister is a little larger than RollNLock's. Also, Retrax will only allow dealers to discount to a certain amount. The lowest price you will find for a Retrax for, for short bed truck is $931. Dealers CANNOT go below that price. If you go with Retrax, I suggest you get the optional lock cover and tailgate seal.

Check out the BAK Rollbak. It works great. And looks good.

I have this cover. I'm not that impressed with it. If this is what you want check with truckaddons.com. They do seem to have a good price on it. Last time I checked it was around $700 and free shipping. They say these are very good covers. I disagree with that. They are NOT water tight they leak at the tailgate, they also make noise (rattling) while driving. On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 7. I won't buy another one. They best cover I've had was the Estang RT soft cover.

I have this cover. I bought it from Truckaddons.com for 684.00 shipped. EXCELLENT COVER! True it does leak but with adjustments I have got it down to barely no leaks. I just need to get one adhesive seal for the taillgate and that will solve all of my leak issues.

Truckaddons.com had this same cover and rails for 607.00 SHIPPED last week! Check them out!

Also, my cover was made in early 2006, so these are the updated cover. They aren't selling older models.

I just got my PE Jack Rabbit for $660, shipped, from AutoAnything. They had them on sale. Took about 1.5 hours to install and another couple minutes over the next day or two to get everything positioned right. Now that it's on there and everything is done, i love it!

I bought mine from the same place, same price, and it took me about the same amount of time to install it...I really like the flush look...I don't like the look of the big shell sitting on top of the bed...however, to each, his own...

The only drawback is what the other members mentioned about it leaking at the tailgate...however, a little weather stripping should fix that...just hasn't gotten a chance to do it...

I sighted some nice toneau covers from a local dealer. Check their Extang or Truxedo brands
