Ameraguard Spray-in
Ameraguard Spray-in
Just had the bed sprayed with Ameraguard and it made my truck look 100% better, can't believe the differance it makes. Did alot of research and read alot of these forums before I went with this liner, looked at samples of all three (Line-x, Rhino, Ameraguard) and the AG was the choice for me. Pics are in my gallery under mods.

It was a toss up for me as far as getting Ameriguard or Line-X. When I spoke with the two different owners, the Line-X guy said he will fix ANY scratch or tear while the Ameriguard guy said he will repair for free any NORMAL wear and tear.
The Ameriguard guy went on to tell me about a guy who put a snowmobile in the back of his pickup that damaged the Ameriguard and there was no way he was going to repair that damage under the warrantee. That made my decision for me. Different dealers may handle warantee claims differently, but I thought that putting a snowmobile in the back of your pickup isn't extrodinary use. The Line-X guy said he'd fix anything because you weren't going to damage his product.
By the way, Jed your truck looks great.

It was $385 under the rail, bed bolts removed and all the good stuff. It took them 3 hours from start to finish. I saw the truck in the bay and they covered the whole truck, besides the bed, in some kind of cover so no overspray would get anywhere. They did a great job. All I have seen on this site is Line-x and Rhino so i figured I would post the Ameraguard and the pics of my bed so we in this forum can see the other options.

Ameriguard was bought out by Ultimate Linings about 6 months ago, the original company was Rhino, and when Rhino got to big, Poly Coat was formed and then bought out by Ameriguard which is a Canadian Company by birth. So yes they might not have alot of places to get the bed fixed if somthing does go wrong, but put the two together and they have over 500 shops that spray. not as much as Rhino or Line-x, but when the place where i had my bed sprayed is 5 minutes from my house its not that bad.
That info may be incorrect. I believe the company you're thinking of is Armorthane, not Ameraguard. Two Rhino owners split, one kept Rhino, the other took Armorthane.
But, I could be wrong and you're right! Do you know for sure?

I am pretty sure. The tech where i got the bed sprayed said this, since i was concernd about the places in the country where i can take the truck in case something happens, he went into this whole story about the Ameraguard/Rhino thing. I also called the other dealer that sprays and he said the same thing but in different words. We might both be right or on the same trail. All in all it was a coke and pepsi thing on the liners for me.
Ameriguard liner...
Hey that is a good looking liner and looks like a perfect install! I had my 02 Lariat done with a Rhino back in June and I am very pleased with spray-ins. I dont think you can go wrong with ANY spray-in if the dealer does it right.
I am in North Carolina and it appears you got a deal on that price. I paid 399.00 for the Rhino, and the dealer did do alot of bed work, taking out dents and even did some build up work near the cab.
Ameriguard id looking good!
