Question How tough is Line-X

About twice a year I have to haul a couple of yards of gravel dumped into my pickup bed. The truck handles it well enough. I want to get the bed Line-Xed but did not want to destroy the lining once installed. So how does Line-X stand up to heavy duty use such a this?

I'm a LINE-X dealer.

Gravel? No problem what so ever. And, that's guaranteed.

I hate to disagree with the other guys, but I've been there and done that. Driveway gravel and lava rocks both left the surface of mine looking worse for the wear. The gravel was loaded with a skid steer and also left dents behind from the 3' drop.

Done the same with Rhino and a couple other brands and they have never survived very well.

If you unload with a shovel, do it yourself (trust no one). Gouging happens.

My dealer told me he couldn't repair such horrible abuse and that the warranty was void because of it.

From Truckgasm's posts here, I think I would trust him to take care of any issues - comes across as a fine upstanding businessman. If he were in my neighborhood and I wasn't so happy with my employer's bedliner, he might be able to get me to come his way.

Gravel makes my Line-X dirty. Luckily it washes right out.

I've had Line-X done on two other trucks and want to have it done to my 05 150, but was wondering if there was any way it could be done over the rail with the way the rail caps are?

Both Fords and Toyota Tundras have plastic rail caps. Underneath the caps are about 20 retangular holes on each side of the bed. We can cover up some holes using (real) metal tape, but these holes are too large. Also, the shape of the rail is not very attractive without the cap.

Saw a '99 F150 shortbed with the side rails and tailgate rail removed.
Just for grins, I counted the holes.
Total all around = 77.
