$700 for Line-X !!!
I am not sure what Line-X dealer in NE Indiana you talked to. I am a Line-X dealer in Angola. We charge $449 for a full size truck. We don't even offer color matching as an option for our customers. It's just not worth the extra money for most people. But that is about what a colored Line-X goes for in this area.
I assume you were quoted a price by Pro Trux. He isn't trying to scam you that is the market rate in this area for Line-X sprayed in color. But like I said I don't even mess with them. We do too many in black to take the time to do a color.
If you have any questions feel free to call me.

Thanks, Scott.
I've been sitting tight as I think the price is a little high. At your price, the color add would be $250 dollars (50% add on).
However, your point is a good one. Since you're the second one in the area to mention that you don't do colors, the quote I got may be my only choice if I go this route.
If I decide to go black, you'll get my business.

Got my Line x last week $ 380 plus tax !
Most of the dealers are indepentant aren't they ? I can see some difference between them , our shop is fairly new , but did a great job , I do wish it was a bit more " tacky " than what it is , but happy never the less , took me a month to decide to cover up my 4 year old perfect / scratchless bed though.

The Rhino lining guy in Battle Creek Michigan is $100 more than me. So you can't really compare drastically different parts of the country to each other. There are a lot of different things that determine price.
KR I in my professional opinion I don't think it's worth the extra money first of all. If you ever have any warranty issues or need a patch you can never color match it again perfectly. That is the biggest thing for me why I don't recommend it.
You are on the right track with Line-X you just need to decide if you want to spend that much money for a colored bedliner.

Hey I am a displaced Hooiser out here in Oregon. I put a black Line-X liner in my 04 F150 for $439.00 The black liner looks great. Black goes with anything, will the color liner match your rig . I looked at all of them and I chose Line-X . The dealer out here in Portland did a great job. It has held up in our soggy weather.
Line-X vs Rino
Depends on what you want your liner to do.
Rino is more of a gripping liner, tool boxes don't slide.
If you want to be able to pull your tool box off the back without having to lift it, then get a Line-X. Had one of each and I prefer the Line-X. Seems like there's another brand that's even harder than the Line-X, but I wanted something that would discourage things from moving, but not gluing them down to the bed.

To be honest with you, I do not think so. (on the Nason). I do have a rubber bed mat that I keep over it--since I had already bought it before the bed got sprayed. The installer here in central FL. does a BUNCH of bedliners--I had specifically asked him about the repair procedure if needed on a color match and he assured me that although not EXACT, it wouldn't be noticable. Sounds to me like Truckgasm really knows his stuff--wish I was up that way. It is my understanding that LineX does not have an exact color matching system like Rhino uses, but again--Truckgasm would know MUCH more about this than me. Anyway--I would highly recommend the color match if you can swing it. Either way though--you can't go wrong with the Line-X!!
Not all LINE-X dealers are familiar with the Nason technique. Dupont Nason, which is a urethane based automotive paint, will not fade. Since it's urethane based, it actually bonds to LINE-X. We take the factory paint code to a professional paint store and the mix the paint to the factory formula for an exact color match. Other advantages are that it's glossy and stays glossy and it better matches the factory paint than just a pigmented liner. I'm getting more and more requests for color matches, I think for two reasons: 1. Everyone has a black bedliner and people are looking for something different and 2. If you have a King Ranch that's cranberry with the Arizona Beige accent, why would want to put a black liner in it?
If your in the DFW area, I'm putting two trucks in Ridgmar mall in Fort Worth for a month. One truck has black LINE-X and the other is a color match.
Here's a few of more pics of LINE-X with Nason; lot's of stuff you can do with non-fading color matched LINE-X:

Truckgasm---
If the Nason is applied after the original Line-X, then is it possible to add afterwards? I know my installer did a great job on the color match, but it is not exactly Arizona Beige. Would it be possible to spray the Nason in Arizona Beige over the existing Line-X? Thanks for your help---GREAT looking vehicles BTW. I LOVE the entire Jeep being done--great idea for trail riding.
