Wow, that looks great!

Anyone seen one in a brown truck? I've got the Chestnut Brown & Gold two-tone, and this looks like just the ticket (protects the bed, keeps you comfortable if you sit back there, and doesn't scratch up the paint), but I'm a little worried it'll look strange with my paint.

I also notice from your description that you have the Tuff Tonno III, but I can't see anything on the rails to mount it. Did you remove the rails, or does this replace the stock rails, or are they really totally invisible? Thanks...

JimWright,
I actually installed the Extang right after the Bedrug. You can't see it in the picture because it is not there. The rails are noticable when the cover is pulled back. I rarley have mine open. I will see if I can get some pictures of the rails for you sometime soon. It is a little hard to see, but check out the picture of the Extang in action in my signature.

I have a 5 month old Pendaliner bedliner I paid $129 plus tax for (installed). I was thinking about the Bed Rug, but...I haul wood around occasionally and need to be able to slide it in and out (4x8 sheets), would this be a problem? I think the Bed Rug gives a "cosy" look to the not-so-cosy bed interior of the truck. We also go camping occasionally too. Anyone ever use one of those bed-tent things in a flareside? If so, how much are they? Is there enough room in those things for 2 adults and a small child at least? I was also thinking about a roll bar. I think that may stop my other ideas though. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Can the bedrug be installed over a spray-on liner? I wouldn't want to haul dirt, rock or whatever on the bedrug so I would remove it for that.

Thanks,
Steve

I throw down a big tarp when I haul wood or stuff like that. Protects the rug and it's easy to clean up!

Yep, that's probably what I would do. I would still do the spray-on liner just to keep from getting damage under the bedrug. I'm kinda picky like that!

Thanks,
Steve

hey lariat4wd - the bedrug is great for lumber, not so good for firewood(splinters get caught etc.). It's got just a bit more resistance than plastic liners. Your wood won't get scratched up either. Get a cheap bed mat to put in when you need to haul sloppy stuff and you'll be all set.

kclm7 - it seems like it would be pretty hard to damage underneath the really well padded bedrug, unless you're putting big heavy metal stuff or rocks in back.

Hey Mike, I was wondering where you purchased the BedRug from for $350?

Thanks,
Steve

Looks GREAT! I am jealous! I've got a Steelhorse carpet liner for my F150 and it is terrible. It does not fit properly and the quality leaves much to be desired. I could never recommended their product. I've definitely added the Bed Rug to my "wish list". I know a good place for my Steelhorse carpet liner... the trash can!
