Question Getting a Line-X sprayed on tommorow, any words of wisdom?

Anything I should ask for or be weary of.
Do the caps on the bed rails need to come off?
This is for my '01 F150 SuperCrew

Check how easy (or difficult) it is to open and close your tailgate before you're sprayed. Then try it before you leave the shop and make sure it operates the same. If it's not, they may have to do some trimming for you.

The cap rails do not come off. They have an excellent adhesive cover which gives the spray edge a factory finished look.

I made sure they were going to remove the tie down hooks so they weren't covered. Also make sure the shop makes a practice of removing the tailgate access panel and spraying it seperately so you can take it off if need be. Have been nothing buy happy with my Line-X so far.

Great tips so far. Ask them also to remove the bed bolts before spraying. This way, you can always adjust or remove the bed later if necessary, without melting the stuff off.

Be sure they spray the top lip of the bed that is in front of the side rails. This gives a nice finished look and gives additional protection. The line-X dealer sprayed over my bed bolts, but how often do you take your bed off. You might also check for universal thickness. I had them respray underneath one of the rails that appeared a little thin to me. I am really pleased with the liner. I have hauled various items including rock, dirt, debris...etc... no rips ,no tears, just a few minor scuff marks.
