Thumbs up BedRug

BedRug has finally come out their bedliner for the SuperCrew, I had one installed yesterday and it looks great and fits well. They have left cutouts for the bed extender, but did not allow for the tie downs.

ALWYSL8

I have been considering the BedRug for my SCrew.
1.Were you able to watch the installation and do you think you could install it yourself?
2. About what did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks,
Tim

I paid $399.00 installed. I wish I had found this site before I got mine from my local dealer. I could have save $50.00 and got a nifty shirt too. AS far as installation, wipes several spots down with rubbing alcohol, stick on some velcro strips and put the liner in. Even I could have done the install. I really like mine. I have an Expedition with a trunk.

Question

I see you have the bedliner without a cap. Does it absorb any water when it rains? I have my bedliner but wonder if it should be taken out when I go capless? I installed mine today. It took about an hour and a half. The tie downs were the worst part but they went back in without too much trouble.

Thumbs up

I bought a Bedrug and a A.R.E. tonneau cover together. Dealer installed both for $30.00. The Bedrug went in real easy could have done it myself. Have not had any problems with water absorbtion. It does get damp but dries out quick. Get lots of compliments on the looks of the tonneau cover. I own a 2000 F150 4x4 Flareside Supercab.

ALWYSL8,

My bedrug just came in UPS yesterday. I am going to install it myself and I was wandering if your installer made slits for the tie-downs or did they mount them on the outside of the bedrug?

Thanks,
Tim

I did not have mine installed by a pro, but I put my tie downs on top of the rug. I took out the tie downs, installed the rug, then with someone in the bed pushing the rug against the wall, I pushed a screw through from the wheelwell. Once the hole was found, you just have to find one per tiedown, the other lines up nicely. A little bit of a pain behind the gas filler but took very little time and looks clean. Just my 2 cents.

Unhappy

My installer did not take the time to make my hooks accessible. I was thinking about doing what Thad did, but have not gotten around to it yet.
