Dupli-Color Bedliner
Xperties and Blueovalboy: Did you guys use the crap in the spraycan or this: http://www.bedarmor.com/bedarmor.php? Just wondering because I have the Bed Armor in the back of my mind and was possibly thinking about using it someday on my truck.
I used the bed armor kit + an extra can. I did it in 80 degree weather, sanded with electric hand sander with light paper (just enough to scuff it up real good) then wiped it down with 3 times with Acetone, applied first coat, waited 1 hour, applied second coat, waited about 2 hours then applied the rest I had in both cans. It sat in direct sunlight for about a week before ever being used.

i have always been anel about my trucks
(how i keep them) so i am sure i went anel over board on the prep and usage!
here's the deal i spent like 2 days doing the prep and application of it. around here it was like $475 to $525 for the pros to do it.
when you add my time i took off work and did it lets say 10 hours at $42.38 an hour. plus $80 for the kit i spent $502.80. i should have let a shop do it and save me the labor and i could have been happy lol
and it was more like 10 hours of prep and on sunday i spent 4 hours to install it
If you are speaking of a bedliner insert "plastic" than of course you can't BUT a bedliner will result in rust faster than anyone else with a DIY roll on kit or professional spray liner.
haha yes i know, but alot of people when the talk about doing diy liners talk about how they don't like how they are holding up and this and that say they are crap and expect them to live up to rhino or line-x expectations. Nonetheless the old duplicolor liners were crap but i have heard good things about the new bedarmor.
