Question Dupli-Color Bedliner

Has anyone used the Dupli-color paint on bedliner befor? I saw it on Trucks TV and it looked good, and easy! They seemed to like it and it only about $70 bucks.

Cool

Use the Herculiner. You will be much happier. I was a mechanic for a landscaping company. We used to use roofing rubber in the floor of our vans. We used Herculiner and it worked wonderfully. I also tried the Dupli Color, but it chipped much easier. I was never able to chip the Herculiner though.

Wink

Use the Herculiner. I have it in my truck and I tried some of the dupli color too as I work at autozone and I got it for 45 bucks minus a 20 % discount...cheap. But its no where as good as herculiner.

i actually just bought some rustoleum undercoating, its a rubberized formula and sprayed the lower valance and the rear bumper pad and then put a matte finish clear on it. looks pretty good, kinda like line x

I used it and the stuff is thick and looks nice even after months of direct sunlight due to the uv protection it has in it.

i did my ranger with that dupli-color i did a good prep job sanded every thing down then i wiped it down with mineral spirits and a cheese cloth. after that i did just as instructions said to. after three days of drying mid to upper 80 degrees. i went and picked up my brother in law up at the bus depot. i slid a soft duffel bag in and watched it pill up like a bad sunburn! that stuff is junk and a wast of cash - time - money! dupli-color said that i did something wrong and walked me through the steps how to do the install and i did what thay said to do to a tee! all thay would do is send me a box of the rattle cans to fix it. the color was darker buy a lot and only half as texture of the roll on crap. now i have had it in there since may 09 and 85% of it has peeled or flaked off.
$80 plus two days prep and i am not satisfied have called them several time and left e-mails for them and still not one response.

Guys on job sites shouldn't be using a DIY kits. These DIY kits are made for the normal wear and maybe hard usage every so often beds. Either way I might be lucky or did a proper prep of the bed. Who knows but I'm happy.
