Penda Liners

FYI

I just put a Penda liner into my 03 and was amazed (read pissed off) to find the front bed tie downs to be covered by removable rubber plugs in the bed liner vs being set up so the tie downs bolt up thru the bed liner like they do in the back.

The Penda liner in my 98 F150 was set up with these bolted thru. What a stupid design change.

Don't buy a Penda liner....

Another negative vote for Penda...

on the Screw, it isn't under the rail... over the wheels it is along side the rail. Really screws you in getting a bed cover.

IMA on both issues, I have the Penda also and had to "add additional hold down power" "screws" in the center of the bed at the tailgate because it would always bow upward in the heat, so much so that you could stick your hand under the liner.

Anyone have anything good to say about them? That's what we got a couple of weeks ago.

It makes your wallet lighter (if you were looking to lose weight)

Well no problems with ours. It is under the rail & seems to fit well. It does have the removeable plugs up front covering the tie downs, but it didn't concern me much. Only time will tell how it'll last. I do like the skid resistant texture of the liner.

Lets see, tie downs in back only, removible plugs in front, poor to medoicore fit. Sounds like mine, don't think i'll buy another one.

yeah, mine says skid resistant too. that means if you are sitting still, engine off, and no wind- most objects will not slide around. mine is now slicker than a hog covered in snot since i spilled about 4 qts of tranny fluid in it
