Ordered on Thursday from FordParts.com, handles arrived Monday. I like that! I installed the Tailgate and Passenger last night in about an hour. Thanks for the instructions! Worked Great! Hopefully the driver side isn't too much more of a challenge with the Keypad.

Here is the link to order from Ford Parts. Go

Yeah, the funny part is I got somewhat different part numbers from fastparts than I did from Ford Parts. Oh well, I got them and I love them.

The drivers side was a bit tricky with the keypad wiring harness.

Good writeup. I should've looked on this board first, just did mine earlier today, but I got some directions from a friend.

One thing I didn't see here is that, if you want to add a keypad to a truck that doesn't have one (that's why I did mine), there will already be a harness in the door with a dead plug. You just remove the dead plug and plug in the keypad harness and you're all set. You will have to call the dealer with your VIN to get the code, the PCM in the truck is already set up with a code, even if your truck didn't come with a keypad on it.

They will be available in July in a paint to match version but for now no such luck.

Door Speaker Mount

You mentioned needle nose pliers for the speaker mount removal, do they pull straight out or do you need to squeeze/pinch from behind to get them out?

great info

Do you think that if plastic back plate was replaced with billet it would reduce the chance of the screwdriver breakin through the key hole ?
