I believe so, but I'm not sure if it's a direct swap. Is your 2004 a new body style or heritage?

all the plugs to swap are there

but you have to get the dealer to swap clusters and reprogram the pats in the new cluster (im assuming that you have a 97-03)

PATS Key's started in 1999 so if you had a 1997 or 1998 no need to reprogram anything

WARNING: Do not put acetone on the gear shift selector piece; it just makes it a clear piece of plastic lol that's why you don't see that piece in my picture. I just painted it black for the time being until I can get another one to replace it :o
Well I went today and got the gear selector piece out of a '98 expedition...the people at the junk yard just gave me that piece. Since it was a '98 it had the blue tint on the back, so it turned out better anyway. I also had some vinyl overlays sitting in my room so I decided to try those out; glad I did, they turned out great! Especially for only $20 on fleabay.

i put these cheezy "color changing" LEDs in from a local auto store for now, just to get an idea of how it looks before i order the rest of the LEDs. cant wait to see how it looks at night.

this has probably already been addressed but what are yall doing about the *****, they have that little cube of green plastic on the back

I have the same question about the ****...and I've tried the LEDs in the hvac panel and it lit up just where the bulbs were and I couldn't even hardly see the rest of the lit up parts.

You could try and find a wrecked 97-98 and get the ***** or convice a friend who likes the green to switch with you. Mine don't have the green and the glow pretty good
