j/k, but now that i've seen some more close up pics of the cervini's hood, i'm dying to get it painted even more. i'm goin crazy here. LoL. Monday can't get here soon enough. and even at that, i gotta wait to around thursday to get it back from the shop

yeah......... i sent mine in the day after i got it.... rode around with it for a day and got the weirdest looks.......... now i ride around and get looks of envy lol ...... it fit really nice.... though i did have to use fender shims on the hinges to bring the hood up to match the fenders..... no biggie..... r u gonna have to use shims too???? just wonderin...... got mine painted and installed for 150.... u shop around on prices??? absolutely love this hood i also worked on a detachable bug gaurd for the highway......dont wanna get chips in my nice new hood....works nice and easy to put on and remove........ enjoy the hood .. hurry up and get it painted

well they say you are supposed to wait at least 5 days to let the hood bake in the sun on the truck to let the fiberglass cure all the way to prevent paint cracking down the road, or bake it in an oven for 140* for an hour, but i've heard alot of times the 5 days thing is better in the long run. plus the body shop doesn't have an oven, and it had to be prefit anyway so...

anyway, yes it needs shimming about 1/8 - 1/4" in the back.
going in monday for paint, and it'll be somewhere around the 200+ mark.
i'm installing it myself

i have a custom whole front end bra for my truck for when i go on the highway and stuff. and i was thinking about that clear xpel tape for the leading edge of the hood for the winter time. i'll have to see how it looks with the extra stufff somebody sent me.
