I have the same question. Is that one of Neal's hood scoops or did you get a whole new hood? Looks good...

First off no it isn't one of Neals scoops...I'll leave that alone..I got it from www.fordpartsnetwork.com un painted for around $ 90 and had it painted at a local Ford dealer for $ 77... I just bought the washers and nuts at the hardware store for $ 00.40 and the screen was from work..free.. and the bottom of the screen is door edge molding $2.00.........First off before paint you need to remove the non functional screen on the scoop from the factory..Once you get the scoop back from paint you can cut the big hole in the hood( i just used a dremel with a cut off wheel)...You need to remove the two front clips on the scoop then trim the two tabs so they sit flat because they are at a 45 degree angle to fit the hole on the Mustang hood..Then re-install the clips to the tabs...drill some holes install washers and nuts ... and your good to go...ohh yeah... I trimmed out the big hole with edging left over from my snuglid..as for the screen i just cut out the right size painted it and used some heavy duty hot glue.....only takes at the most 2 hrs if your really takin' your time....I can send you a piece of screen if you want i don't have much left...

That's a nice job. It looks really good and its functional but I dont think I have the cojones to take a dremel to my hood.

You're a much braver soul than I am.

Thanks for the info. I would not have a problem with the hood cutting, I would just be worried about getting the scoop lined up straight with the hood lines. I still might give it a shot.

On the other hand, if I do screw it up, I would then have an excuse to order a new Cervini hood!!!

RoushFan - Does your scoop mount flush to the hood?? I noticed on Neal's that the front edge is slightly lifted off of the hood. With the dark color of your truck, it is hard to tell.

Very nice job. Goes well with your truck, which BTW is tastefully done, and a very nice package. I think that is the same scoop that I have so it gives me a good idea of how it looks on the hood. I like it much.
Again, nice job.

HI!.... LightningCrew : Where exactly can you see mine lifting off the hood??? Here's a pic of my scoop "ACTUALLY" bolted to the hood and NOT sitting on top of it.

This is where I saw a gap on the passenger side - guess that was not installed. Sorry.
