Lightning Bumper Installation Help!!!!!!!!

I need some suggestions from you guys that have installed the lightning bumper cover. I will be installing one on my truck Thursday. What would be easier? Would it be easier to install the cover to the bumper while the bumper is attached to the truck or should I install the cover to the bumper then attach both bumper and cover to the truck?

Thanks In Advance,
Blake

I understand that. I would love to leave my original bumper on however the guy that I am getting the parts from has the black L bumper on his truck now and he needs my bumper setup. So we will be swapping bumpers.

Thanks,
Blake

The L "bumper cover" goes on over your existing metal bumper. You can give him the plastic peices on the top and bottom of the bumper. However, you will need to have the metal bumper under the L bumper cover to maintain the front end structural integerity. He probably just needs you plastic peices.

I never posted pics on this board before but as soon as I get the pictures downloaded and figure out how to post pictures I will do that.

This is the only picture that I have downloaded so far. I hope to get the rest downlaoded tomorrow. The truck on the left is my truck and the truck on the right belongs to the guy that I bought the Lightning bumper cover and parts from. I don't know exactly how to put a picture with this message but check out the link to my gallery. More pictures to come hopefully tomorrow.
