Hey Habibi did you have to take out your old honey comb grille to put the stull one in? or did u just slap it over the stock grille. Also if u slaped it over old grille, can u see old grille through the stull one?

thanks, Honster

Hi!

My pal Gunzo001 from this site, did the install for me.
I was helping by passing him screwdrivers and giving him moral support, my job was mainly nursing my beer.

The entire grill frame, headlamps, and corners had to be removed first. It looked like a pain to do, but now that I've seen it done, I think I could tackle it.

Ford uses these plastic disposable screws that help secure the grill surround to the top of the bumper. Not a big deal, but you will need 10 of them, because once you remove them, they become frayed and are not useable again.

It took about 90 minutes to do.
The old grill didn't go to waste though, Gunzo's truck had the egg crate, but he replaced it with my honeycomb, and it looks a lot better.

Here's a couple of before and after pics.

Regards
Habibi

4X4PWR Thanks for the compliment I purchased mine from www.Godfathercustoms.com on 4/19/01 and paid $366. 800-231-1101 Don't know what they cost now or where to go to get it cheaper. Part #2136FP (polished) fit my 01. Top grill fit perfectly, bottom had to be ground down so the slats wouln't rub the surround. Overall I would do it again in a heartbeat. I love the way it makes the front end look. The lightning bolt came from www.Billetandacrylic.com 561-567-7645. Hope this helps.

Here's a pic of my Stull grilles. Bought at e-bay for $150 (new) from someone that bought them and didn't like the way they mounted.

Nice

I have a 1998 Ford F-150 Stepside, so that billet wouldnt work. I need to find one for my year.. However, does anyone know if I can add the Lightning bumper to my 98? I havent heard of anyone that has done it yet... But who knows. Nice Lightning Decal as well.

Try KarKraft.com. They have Lightning bumpers for a fairly good price.
