Cool L Side Skirts on a Style Side

Has anyone attemped to install the L side skirts on the style side F150? How mod did you have to do to get them on? I would like to get them but I do not want a side exit exhaust like the L either.

Also

in a past issue of Truckin' there was a F150 called MO MONI II and it was a style side with L side skirts or what appeared to be L side skirts.

hey 98STXV8, check out Roush Racing or Roush Performance under F150 trucks. You'll spend big cash, be advised!

i figure that you would have to do alot of cutting to get it to work on that bed, there has to be an aftermarket company that makes something similar to the L for your bed style

I just purchased and installed the L ground effects from KarKraft on my styleside. There wont be a problem with them lining up. The bottoms of the flareside and styleside are the same but there are 2 problems i ran into while installing them. You have to drill holes to mount them which is a simple task but getting them to line up right where you want them to is a bitch. You will probably spend no less than 3 hours trying to get them right. And my previous thought of the styleside and the flaresides being the same kind of changed. The ground effect piece that goes right in front of the rear tires is about and inch longer than the bed so it will stick out into the wheel well but ive had them on for a week and i hardly notice it anymore. It also flares out a bit in the back so you will have a small gap between the bed and the ground effect. Other than that they were a great investment and i get more compliments than ever now on my truck. Im also happy they give you new exhaust tips for the cutout in the ground effect as i already had mine coming out there they were getting black.

Wings West has ground effects that look just the L's and they make them for the stylesides too.

Wings West and Razzi

Those kits are nice but I have a reg cab. I called both manufacures to see if they made one for reg cab or if it can be modified to fit a regualr cab and they both said no due to the material they use when making the parts. Roush is nice to but I need something that not very many people have. Thanks anyways

Ford4u2nv still waiting on those pics...

You can buy the L ground effects for the cab section and order the styleside bed pieces for the the bed. Although I'm not sure Wings West sells just the bed pieces sepparately.

I would be willing to bet with a little effort you could make the factory L efx fit on the styleside. When I put them on my flareside that was the first thought that went through my mind.
