You need the upper and lower fog light brackets for the left and right side. You need a bottom grille i went with a billet one cuz it was cheaper than getting it from ford. You need the left and right fog lights and if your truck is not wired for fogs you can buy a fog light install kit anywhere.

Nope he tagged it all, I did the conversion and that's all you need it does in fact just go over your old steel bumper so no mounts or anything are needed, you do have to buy a couple screws from the hardware stored to mount those fog light brackes.... also FYI 87-93 mustang GT foglights fit in the bumper. They look good and are about 35 bucks or so a pop through Summit and other places. Much cheaper than the SVT lights through ford... The mustang lights are make by HELLA

Dave - when the dealer installed mine, they "claimed" they had to put a new bumper on for the cover. It is probably just easier for them to install it with the actual L bumper. But from what I have heard from others, you can probably remove your current lower valance and mount the cover over the existing bumper.

No offence lightning crew but it sounds like you got screwed because all you have to do with a 99 + bumper is take the valences off then put the upper and lower fog light brackets on and slap the bumper cover on then put some screws through every mount hole on the cover you can find. I gotta get some pics developed when i do i will post them. I am not a mechanic and have never messed with this kind of stuff so if i can figure it out you can. Good luck the results are amazing.... I get sooo many people rubber necking to look at my truck. the 20's help hehe

The upper fog light brackets only help stabilize the bumper cover they do not hold the fog lights as for where the parts numbers are i will look for themOk heres the parts numbers and what they are just get all of these
XL3Z-17a861-AA
XL3Z-17a861-AB Fill assyembly the thingy that goes under the grille shell

XL3Z-17E856-aa
XL3Z-17E856-ab should be the pastic v shaped bumper cover brackets fits right ontop of the bumper
1L3Z-17E857-BA
1L3Z-17E856-BA not exactly sure but these 4 i seperated are the bumper cover brackets

XL3Z-17B985-AC
XL3Z-17B984-AA these are the bumper mount brackes

1L3Z-17D957-BB This is your bumper cover

I do not have the numpers on the fog lights but when you talk to the guy i think he is Gary Starr tell him you need the 2001 fog lights. He is a good guy he did me well.

Important thing to not here man is that you need to keep all the bolts and nuts you take off of your old bumper cuz your going to need them if there messed up you will need to order them

I put billet grills in top and bottom because it cost less to get 2 billet grilles than it did to get the factory ford lightning grill for the bumper. it cost like 220 or something like that shipped from billetsuperstore.com

Duh i forgot to tell you www.fordpartsonline.com thats where that stuff is ordered

LightningCrew, the truck looks awsome. I want to get the L bumper and wheels. I dont think the 01's will fit, so I might get the 99-00's like yours. What tires did you get, they look larger than the F1's. If you wouldn't mind, could you take a close up pic of the wheels with a little of the body showing. Also, would you measure from the top of the tire to the bottom of the wheel well. ( I know you have a 2" drop) Here in town, there is a flarside with the wheels and F1's, so I can compare your tires and demisions with this one so I can decide on what tire to go with.
thanks

PhillipSVT - thanks for the compliments. I will try and get some pics up tonight - going to get the girl washed today!!

The '01 wheels should fit if the '00 will.

The wheels/ tires I got were from www.afswheels.com . Go to the truck/SUV section and they make replica L wheels. They also sell a package with the same tires that I have. The size is 285/60/18. Yes they do fill up the tire wells more and they will slightly raise your truck from stock. They scrub just a little when you are turning slowly, but not enough to bother me. When I replace them I will probably go down to a 265/60/18 because that is closer to stock (overall diameter). I highly recommend these tires. Very aggressive looking - great traction wet or dry. Have 30K+ miles on them thus far and still have plenty of tread on them.
