Arrow Please post pics of taillight covers here:

I have a black 97 F150 4x4 regular cab with short bed. I am in a delima about what to get for taillight covers. I got the GTS blackouts for the headlights, but am wondering what to get for the rear. Trailblazers?? Blackouts?? What do you think?? Any pictures will be greatly appreciated. -Matt

i've got the v-tech covers on my 00 flareside. they were 22$ and came unpainted. they look awsome i think and they had the best prices. i wouldn't get blackouts if i were you. just beggin for a rear ending IMO.

Thanks Josh, your covers look real nice. I think the slotted type like yours looks better on flairsides than the regular fleet side. Oh, maybe I am just looking for somethiing different than everyone else...most F150's I see with taillight covers have the slotted kind. I had GTS blackouts on my 84 Camaro. The lights were very visable at night and the brake light was even brighter. I never even had a problem with the police, unlike my friend who lives in the same town and has a 1996 Camaro with blackouts. I guess my lights just showed through better than his does. Anyone else have pics???

cjb...

Thanks for the reply...those extreme covers on JCWhitney are pretty cool! I have never seen those before, I really like the extreme ones for the ford (the center picture on that site).

Any one else with light covers?? I'd love to see them or hear pros/cons on them.

If you want something different

just get tail lights. I've got the carbon fiber ones.

If that's not the look your looking for , that's cool. Just a thought. I too wanted something different. That's why I went this route.
