I agree. I ordered a set of WeatherTech mud guards for my 2015 and sent them right back. In my opinion they looked terrible on the truck. Don't get me wrong, I have WeatherTech liners in my truck and they look and function great. WeatherTech is a good company, but the mud guards need some improvement.

those also look similar to the duraflap brand. I've used these on my last 2 trucks with good success.

Okay. Pictures to show how flimsy they are. They look good at first. Then you wiggle em and reveal the truth.

My concern is that stupid rotary tab clamping mechanism. It's confusing and inconsistent. On my back fenders, I must have the metal tab behind the fender flare, the plastic "notch" on the outside of the flare, then tighten it down. The back also has one extra screw hole it can utilize, so the rears are a bit more secure.

However, in the front, to get the mud flaps to rest against the fender flare, both the metal tab AND that plastic "notch" muct be tucked behind the fender flare. Which, renders the metal tab clamping design moot.

Okay, here's the rear mudflap. It seems flush, but that goofy notch lock actually flexes it away from the flare, and leaves a visible gap. Downright ugly. But.... secure.

Now the crappy part. The front mudflap. I can wiggle and flex this one around enough that it wants to loosen up and let go. You can also see that the plastic notch is tucked behind the flare. I still cannot confirm which way is the correct way. Their instructions are not clear, and their photos are black n white which show zero usable detail.
