Yeah, is the frame able to be straightened?

Bad A though! Got part numbers for hood hinges, or were they OEM? It'd be cool to make a write-up on how to do this so others can follow suit.

got oem hinges for an 09 and up off ebay. all that missing to buyer in the front end is the fx4 2 bar grille, trying to wait and get a deal most about between $260-280

got the ends straightened with another truck and chain took about 15 minutes, it was from the condenser forward. there not perfect yet, im waiting to get ready to mount bumper to make adjustments accordingly

once im done with the assembly ill make a write up for exactly how to do the front end conversion. bumper will be the hardest part of the whole thing everything else pretty much bolts up with minimal work.

I'd be concerned with the wallop those frame horns took having been sent to the rest of the frame, but hopefully not. Hope to see this all buttoned up and driving properly!

If I recall from Raptor conversion threads, 2" or so needs to be cut off the frame horn ends, so I agree that it sounds like the suckiest part of all this. I love that the panels and hood essentially just need mount location mods.

had some more time on my hands today. took care of tightening the bed down, adding the tailgate, and start on the bumper.

I had been going back and forth on whether i needed to trim back or not thanks

quick question in order to level the turkc i would need about a 2.5 lift right? also in the picture i posted of one completely done on the first page are those xd rockstars 20's? it should turn out just like that one but with 09 mirrors, and 2bar grille. any other style you recommend on wheels??

No problem, hopefully that helps!

You'll have to measure the gap difference from front to back, just because every truck is different, leaf springs start to sag, etc. I like adding 2 to 2.5" in the front and then adding a block (if 2WD) or bigger block to the back (if 4x4) so the whole truck gets lifted. That's what I did. Autospring is great, and inexpensive, company to get both from.

Yeah, those are 20" Rockstars on 37" (or so) Mud Grapplers. I have Fuel Mavericks, which I love. I like black wheels with some machining done to accent parts of the wheel. Just depends on what you're looking for. Pro Comp and Eagle Alloy have some nice looking black wheels as well. Those two companies are less common, so it can be nice to have wheels that not everyone has.

X2, this is a unique build. It's unfortunate to see you didn't get the '09/'14 bed though, but giving this "sandwiched" truck new life is great to see.

freedom off road sells a 4 in lift cheaper than a level kit and takes the rake out I had an 05 that I put 36s on a stock suspension. I forget the name is a tool. My buddy has it, but you basically screwed it into your lug nuts and I had this ball you just went back-and-forth and it massaged your real well plastic so they want it rub but I eventually went with that freedom kit and gave you the struts and the shocks and blocks for your rear
