Would this look good

Ok so I've been thinking about putting a grill guard toolbox and a rear bumper replacement on my 2013 f150 but my question is if anyone has seen this or had it done. I know if I stick with black it would look good but I'm kind of leaning toward getting them in the tan color. My truck is straight kodiak brown without the two tone. This is where I have problems seeing it, I'm kind of thinking that without the two tone the tan grill guard, rear number and tool box will look out of place. My tuck also has chrome bumpers and chrome steps but nothing else is chrome except the grill. So what do y'all think stick with black or get the tan.

It's true black looks good with anything, its the new chrome. I've never seen a tan grill guard and toolbox so would be something different that not many/no one has so that part would be cool. If you had the two tone with the tan on bottom I'd say go with tan, otherwise personally I'd go black but it's your truck and you gotta like how it looks. That's the beauty of personalization, it's ultimately your choice!

Stick with black. It will only look good if you have the two tone. I'm not a fan of chrome, but you already have chrome bumpers and a chrome grille so I think that chrome would match the best.

Get someone to photoshop the tan items for you. I think it's a unique idea and worth at least a photoshop. But it's definitely a stretch.

But to be safe, definitely go with black. The only issue I see is maybe mixing the very dark, nearly black Kodiak Brown and the black, not a lot of contrast yet not the same color. Kodiak Brown is an absolutely beautiful color, just tough to scheme for.

This thread may help some of you visualize a bit

Ya I posted on the photoshop thread and hopefully someone will pick it up, but I really hope the tan would look good, but if it doesn't then i will just have to settle for black, and I definetly don't want more chrome I hate chrome, but a little is alright. And when I get a rear bumper replacement that bumper will no longer be chrome

Whenever someone does it for you, post in link in here cause I'm really interested in seeing how that looks. But I hate chrome too, and getting rid of my chrome bumpers has made the short list

IMO Black would look better. I think tan is a stretch.

I don't know much about other manufacturers, or if things have changed in the last 10 years, but I had a black grill guard on both my S-10 (Westin) and F-150 (Manik). Both showed signs of rust after a few years. It wasn't bad, but it's something worth considering.

I have a chrome grill guard on my Expedition and that one doesn't show any signs of rust, and it's been on for about 5-6 years. I know the chrome grill guard is made of stainless, so it shouldn't rust. It was pricey when compared to the black powder coated guards, but it was worth it.
