They said if i did it myself or anyone else it would void Powertrain and Front end warranty. So its almost not worth it. I think is a load of bull but i cant change anything. Their gonna do what they want.

The only way it would void your warranty is the parts that connect to it will no longer be covered. They would have to prove that that component (the spacer) caused a failure in the engine to void power train .... I'd love to see that happen lol

But everything it touches/directly effects will be voided like the ball joints, possibly the rack, shocks, etc.

I think im gonna wait to get wheels and tires. Wheels take all of my money. So i think im gonna stay cheap. Like tint lights, halo's, and maybe some other stuff. I going for looks rights now. I trying to break up the silver. Wheels would help but take all of my money. I might level it myself. What does that Dee Zee Thing do?

when you say halos please tell me you dont mean halo headlights. just go buy oem projectors from a higher end model. do not buy any aftermarket headlights

I haven't heard of the Dee Zee step deal, but maybe it's like the "man step" that comes stock? If you like the dual projector, halo headlights, get em! Though I personally don't care for them a whole lot, I think people should choose their own mods and get whatever they want. They definitely look better on 09+'s than the 04-08's

Have you found the "how to" thread to install the level? It is relatively straight forward, but having a buddy with you is almost a must

It's not that most people think those halo headlights look bad, it's that they're poor quality. They have pretty bad quality assurance on them so the halos or the ones with the little led running lights tend to burn out pretty fast. And they're generally pretty overpriced, but it's your truck so if you want them go for them, but just a heads up.

I wouldn't use the spare tire jack. It's pretty darn flimsy

another cheap alternative to change the look of the headlights/ tail lights would be to lamin-x (http://www.lamin-x.com/) them. its not permanent and would save you alot of money over getting a new housing.

I'm not sure I'd do that on headlights, darkening the lenses on those just seems like being able to see at night may become a problem and/or it might be illegal depending on area..

Ok. So I have read alot about the halos. To much of a gamble. I already tinted my tail lights. I did it to the same opaqueness of the FX4. They look pretty good. I have looked at changing the exhaust and maybe a Air raid filter. ( dont know why people hate them). I like the Tonneau covers but id rather have a tool box in the back. After i attempt to level the truck, there is not very much i can do to the exterior besides Level, Toolbox, tint, exhaust, and Airaid Filter. I may look into a bull bar with lights. ( little worried bout wiring it up). I wish i could figure out how to post pics. It keeps messing up...
