Question 3M vinyl wrap?

Hello,

My paint is really scratched

I want to put a black matte vinyl wrap
http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...ts/Series1080/

I found on ebay for about $630, not sure if that's enough or too much I have a 2006 F150 scab with 6.5 box and an Arrow canopy on it
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3M-1080-Scotchprint-Matte-Black-Car-Wrap-Vinyl-Film-75ft-x-5ft-350sq-ft-/120805221357?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item1c208d63ed
I'd like to have your opinion about this, I'd like to do it myself to save some money, and $600 for a new look isn't that bad

here is a picture of the truck when I bought it last year, I made a few changes but the picture here is good to see the size of the truck

vinyl is a pain to work with if you're not experienced. Its not as easy as it sounds

ya I just found out about plasti dip but the manufacturer says that it does peel very easily, what's your thoughts?

plasti dip, can I do it myself or does it has to be done by a professional?
I found that shop close to Seattle:

I don't have any experience with PDipping. I just wrapped my hood, well i helped a friend wrap my hood and its tough to get it to push and pull around the corners and textures of the sheet metal. It was pretty difficult.

how long did it take for the wrap install? any special tools required?

I found a guy doing the dip on his truck, looks sick
so is it DIY or with a shop? I want to do the whole truck

was a couple hours for hood and grill, just normal flat paddles kind of stuff to get it to lay down, and a heat gun to help seal the edges

P dip could be done quicker and no worries on the bends and is easy to touch up.would cost around the same and less skill needed.

It's not easy man. My family had a business for years. Let a shop do it if you go that route.
