Gonna dip my chrome bumpers black as soon as it warms up. Did wheels on tracker I own too. Stuff is way cool I agree.

 

Speaking plasti-dip... It can go too far. Was chatting with a friend last night who told me about dipyourcar.com... Yep, apparently tuners are dipping the whole car now. Whatever turns your crankshaft I guess

 

its not just for tuners, my buddy did his whole jeep in flat black, looked pretty cool too!

 

Yeah, after watching the video it actually turned out pretty nice. Come to think about it I recall a site where a guy did a whole jeep, and a dodge? Might be cool on some trucks but that would be a lot of plasti-dip

The thing I like about it is if I screw up, I can just peel it off. You can't do that with paint. Also dipyourcar is where I get my supplies from. Wheels on tracker were flat black for about a month untill I wanted a change. I then added a couple coats of glossifier to give them some sheen. Possibilities are endless with that stuff.
