How would you attack this body work?
I noticed we dont really have a body work section so I hope this is fine to post up here......
So the 93 has some bad rust. For the rear fenders Im just cutting them out and welding new ones in. My two bad areas that Im not sure how I should address:
Open the door and this lovely mess is staring back.

Should I just cut the rocker off and try welding square stock there or something? This one is my rear issue.
Then there is this: Its looking up from under the truck, I can get my hand into the cab threw the floor near the corner, I dont know if I should just do a floor when I do cab corners? Seems like a lot of work though.

Any one have a thread of doing any similar body work? Or any half decent ideas? Getting a new truck or cab isn't an option, if I had that money I'd just put a nice f150 cab on a linked f350 frame
Thanks guys

No one here can shed any light for a body work newbie? Any thoughts to iff replacing the floor or fabbing a new one would be easier? Same question goes for rocker panels as well? And as far as welding fenders and floor any tips? I haven't started doing to much research on the fender welding but Im sure ill find alot of info, just these two things I pictured I am not finding an abundance of info
Mine is rusted in the exact same spots. Pass. side rocker has that mess that turned into a hole and on the drivers side up under the cab. I personally plan to pull the cab off and decide from there. If anything more is bad, cab swap. Otherwise patch panels, a good welder/ body glue. Reseal, paint.

At this point it's more a matter of, how far do you have to cut for clean metal to patch into and how far are YOU willing to go to save the original cab. Versus getting a rust free southern body and doing the swap.

I would definetly do a body swap if I was more confidenent with what I was doing. Might get the chance to swap a body on a buddies bronco 2 soon if that goes smoothly I may look for a cab but Im not sure I'd even find one cheap enough or in decent enough shape around here
Maybe Ill scroll around for a thread of some one doing one with alot of pictures. Would you leave everything in and hook it up or do you need to gut the cab of all the dash board stuff

Either or. Depends on if you wanna use your interior or the donors. I personally would strip everything and sound deaden the **** out of the new cab. Especially the firewall. Interior is very simple to strip anyway, worth it just for a really good cleaning.
Seen a few things, definitiely doesn't seem to challenging. I see alot of people saying make sure you do it legally, if you keep the vin # from the new cab I dont unders
tand how you would ever have an issue

I would just put new rocker panels in......from your pics that looks like where all the damage is. It is easier then hell to get the full replacement parts. Just put the ned part right over the old part, mark it, cut it out, weld new piece in, and your done.
